Created by the community, for the community ... Hood River ProcessionEarth Day 2009 Procession of the Species 4/18/09 Procession start: 12:30pm and will loop through downtown Hood River. Procession organizers: the Columbia Gorge Earth Center, the Columbia Gorge Ecology Institute (SECRETS of the Forest Home) and the Columbia Center for the Arts. CGEC and CCA will be hosting two costume making sessions on April 11th and 17th at the Columbia Center for the Arts, from 3:00pm-8:00pm. There will also be a costume booth at the Earth Day event April 18th at the Saturday Market lot where the Procession will begin and end.
