The Olympia drum circle known as "Drum Fun" is happening regularly! People are meeting up to drum Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm at the Pier (in the shelter in front of the senior center at 222 Columbia Street.
- Some new and old faces have been showing up and the rhythm is flowing!
- Please bring a chair if you need one.
- Masks and or social distancing are encouraged.
- If you approach others closely please don a mask!

- Bring your instruments if you have some or share ours if you don't.
- Simple instruction is available so don't let lack of experience keep you away.

As for The Community Rhythm Drumming at West Central Park that David and April co-hosted on Sunday evenings, we are done for the summer season. Thanks to all who came and shared in some beats! Aptil has been talking with Park staff about our idea of having both a set rhythm instruction segment followed by a free styling segment. The idea was liked and tentative plans are to try for every other Saturday between 2 to 3 to kind of piggyback with the 9-2 Saturday Market at the park that goes through October or perhaps Sundays from 2:00 to 3:00.
