every life matters... The Plan
The Iraq Memorial To Life helps us acknowledge and remember all who have lost their lives. It provides viewers & visitors an experience through which they better understand the human cost of the war. It opens a path toward reconciliation and reparation.
Objective
To create and install a memorial honoring those killed as a result of the hostilities in Iraq since March 19, 2003.
To make the Memorial available for continued updating and appropriate, respectful use at other locations.
Design
A small memorial marker to represent each life; a configuration that helps us to envision the over one million three hundred thousand lives.

Public Parks in cities across America
Dates
- March 14 (or 16), 2010 -- Central Park, New York City
- March 19 – 20 -- National Mall, Washington D.C.
Support
The Fellowship of Reconciliation is the project sponsor of the Memorial. Other well known national organizations are supporters; they each have a long history working to stop wars and to promote reconciliation. They include:
