Combatants for Peace Founding Members in Olympia on September 24th for Two Events!!!

Interfaith Works is hosting peace organizers from Israel and Palestine for two, public events on Thursday, September 24th. You are warmly invited to attend these free events and meet these remarkable former militants who are now working together for peace.

The first event is a community healing ritual from noon to 1 p.m. at Squaxin Park Shelter #1. Facilitated by the Combatants for Peace, this interactive ritual will engage all who attend as we acknowledge what we will no longer carry and what we want to carry forward. All are welcome. Please arrive early.

The second event is also on the 24th and will be an evening presentation event to hear more about the amazing stories of these visiting activists and the work they have been doing together for the past 20 years. This event will include Q&A, is free, and will be from 7-9 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church Gymnasium, located at 1925 Boulevard Rd SE, Olympia, WA 98501.

This presentation will feature extensive sharing by these remarkable founding members of Combatants for Peace (CfP) about their work and mission. We will gather to co-imagine a future worthy of all people and discern how we can act together to build it now.
