"seek truth to find wisdom..." About Truth/Wisdom
While most of us would agree that the world could use more wisdom, I'm fairly sure there would be wide disagreement on what that was. Over the space of many years I have collected a fair number of quotes. Quotes are interesting things. They are usually short but memorable. The wiktionary says "to refer to a statement that has been made by someone else" and that is not very helpful. I think that what makes them memorable is that there is some 'truth' in what is said and we recognize that that is important.
I put this site together for my wife and I hope that she will help me expand it. Because - as we seek the 'truth' that is found in 'quotes,' I think we can be building 'wisdom'.
Knowledge isn't a possession - it cannot be monopolized.
