Farm Land Trust

The South of the Sound Community Farm Land Trust will feature speakers discussing plans for future farm land preservation at their annual meeting, Friday, March 15, 6:00 p.m. at South Bay Grange Hall, 3918 Sleater Kinney Rd NE, Olympia. The event starts with networking and a chance to learn about the services of local, agriculturally related membership organizations and county programs. A highlight of the annual gathering is the potluck dinner featuring foods from local farms. Speakers at the business meeting will include representatives of Thurston County's Historic Barns project and the Washington Department of Agriculture's Centennial committee. The Tune Snugglers will provide the music so kids and adults can dance the night away. Members and friends are welcome to attend and invited to bring a potluck item for the dinner.
