Grow for the Food BankGrowing and harvesting produce for the Thurston County Food Bank takes lots of volunteers! The Food Bank is hoping to create a Gardening & Gleaning Team to help with this effort. In February through June, the TCFB Gardening and Gleaning Team will work primarily at school gardens and the Kiwanis Food Bank gardens, preparing the garden beds for planting and getting crops in the ground. From June through October, the team will do less garden tending and more garden gleaning. This is a great volunteer opportunity for those who enjoy gardening and working outside.
