The Shelton Farmers Market is under new management this year and is currently looking for vendors and entertainers to keep the street lively during this new season. The market opens on Saturday, May 3 and runs through the last Saturday in September. Great family fun activities are planned each week including a local arts walk, children's garden planting, educational speakers and a community cultural drum circle. There will be postings about the Farmers Market in the Shoppers Weekly and on the radio to spread the word about events. Local vendors will offer fresh produce, plants, flowers, garden accessories, artwork, baked goods and delicious sweets and chocolates.
