Save Water with LOTT Incentives

The LOTT Alliance and the Cities of Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater work together to implement a joint Water Conservation Coordination Program, conserving drinking water and reducing flows to the wastewater treatment system. Residents who receive LOTT sewer service from one of the three cities are eligible for a number of water-saving incentives. Residential customers can pick up free indoor water-saving kits from their City water utility provider. The kits include a water-efficient showerhead, kitchen faucet aerator, bathroom aerator, toilet leak-detection tablets, and plumbers' installation tape. Customers may also be eligible for rebates of $100 toward the purchase of water-saving washing machines. In addition to the rebate, customers will save money on water and energy bills with these high-efficiency appliances.

Commercial customers are eligible for WaterSmart rebates up to 75 percent of the cost of water-saving retrofits for their business or institution. Eligible projects include replacement of single-pass cooling systems, installation of high-efficiency toilets, replacement of water-cooled ice machines, and much more. WaterSmart participants enjoy substantial utility-bill savings, upgraded equipment, and improved efficiency.
