Activist Action Camp Offered

Local activists and interested citizens are invited to a weekend of theory, training, discussion and fun at the Cascadia Action Camp on October 21 and 22 at The Evergreen State College.

Theoretical discussions will include anti-oppressive organizing, the history of local movements, pacifism, civil disobedience and genetic engineering.

Skill-building seminars will focus on consensus, unionizing the work place, video activism, indigenous sovereignty support, tree climbing, bike activism and more.

Adding to the fun will be games, food, dinner-theater, poetry, plays, puppets, songs and a slumber party.
