Just as does the produce deptartment we at the free store believe in a sustainable future, supporting sustainable agriculture, and a sustainable planet. We want to be an asset to the Co-op. Our motto is, Reduce, Re-use and Recycle!
Our Vision and Values
Our vision is to contribute to the community in the following way:
- By reducing and re-using we help the environment, by keeping things out of the land-fill and re-cycling personal items and used clothing.
- We contribute to and support an alternative economic model. Our donors are making a difference. Our donors and our customers shop at the Co-op.
- We are serving the homeless and low-income communities in Olympia and Thurston County.
- We are a neighborhood asset.
What the free store does is provide high quality items for give-away only.
