Ground rules DRAFT

All members will:

  1. Have fun!
  2. Treat each other with dignity and respect.
  3. Treat each other's property, costumes, and equipment with care.
  4. Learn how to handle all instruments, equipment, and costumes properly.
  5. Actively participate in all group practices and events. Participate in song and choreography collaboration when requested.
  6. Take responsibility for learning songs and/or choreography. To perform you are expected to attend practices. If you miss practices before a show/event, you may not be able to perform as determined by the Drum or Dance Lead. Contact the Leads, Assistant Leads, or Teaching Assistants if you need additional help.
  7. Contact in advance either the Drum or Dance Lead when you are unable to make a practice or a performance.
  8. Come prepared to practice and performances with instruments, costumes, and accessories.
  9. Participate in warm-up and cool-down before and after practices and performances to prevent injuries.
  10. Leave personal issues outside practice and performance. Bring any concerns or suggestions to the Drum or Dance Leader after rehearsal unless the issue needs immediate attention.
  11. Pay monthly dues on or before the 1st of each month. Dues are $XX.XX a month.
  12. Strive for one band, one sound leading to a 'tight' performance.

    In addition to the ground rules above:

  13. All new members will be In-Training and will not perform until approval is received from the either the Drum or Dance Lead.
  14. All purchases for the band must be pre-approved through the Core Group.
  15. All decisions regarding bookings, marketing, website, etc. will be approved by the Core Group.
  16. Drummer and dancer participation in a show and individual songs will be determined by the respective Drum or Dance Lead.
  17. Guest performers may be invited to perform by the Drum or Dance Lead.
