Planning Underway for Food SummitDo you eat food or know someone who does? Then plan to get involved with the South Puget Sound Food Summit, scheduled for October 2011. The Food Summit will bring together those who grow, make, process, eat and are otherwise involved with food here in the South Sound. An action plan to bolster our local food system will be developed. The advisory committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Thurston Regional Planning Council, 2424 Heritage Court SW, Suite A, Olympia.
