South Sound Pier Peer Exploration

Fall in love with Puget Sound again, or for the first time! Join People For Puget Sound naturalists out on the docks for a nighttime adventure at Boston Harbor Marina, Olympia, from 8:00-9:30 pm on Saturday, November 13. See the food web in action as you are visited by giant marine worms, colorful sea slugs, sea stars, larval fish, jelly fish and maybe even the luminescent squid. And you never know when a harbor seal might swing by for a snack. People For Puget Sound members are free; non-member adults, $10. Advance reservations are required; space is limited. RSVP at http://pugetsound.org/forms/event_rsvp. This is a family-friendly event but we advise parents not to bring children under eight years old. All children must by supervised by an adult. Please dress for the weather (and damp docks) and bring your own flashlights. For more information, contact Gabby Byrne, 360-754-9177.
