Ethical Eating Movie Series

The Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation is sponsoring a monthly movie series through May 2010, which covers some of the biggest issues in ethical eating: fair trade food production, industrial vs. family farming, genetically modified food, organic farming, localized food production, and water safety and availability. These movies will inspire you to take action in a way that is very personal - with your food choices. Each movie session will be followed by thoughtful discussion and tasty snacks appropriate to the discussion.

The remaining titles on the schedule are Buyer Be Fair, Food Beware, and Future of Food. The dates are March 29, April 19, and May 24. All sessions will begin at 7:00 pm and end by 9:00 pm and will be held in the sanctuary of the Olympia Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 2300 East End Street NW, Olympia. Although free of charge, a donation is requested to help defray costs. For more information, please contact Leslie Romer, 360-357-7638 or lesliehr@aol.com.
