Dead Can DanceThe fourth Day of the Dead Benefit: Dance for Change will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Eagles Ballroom, Fourth Avenue and Plum Street, Olympia. Ticket Prices are $12 in advance (plus any surcharge) and $15 at the door and are available now at http://www.buyolympia.com/events/?details=436 Funds will support two important community institutions in the Olympia area. The Community Sustaining Fund of Thurston County (CSF) was formed almost 20 years ago and provided its first grants in 1989. Earthbound Productions http://www.procession.org/index.php is about making cultural connections between communities and the natural world. Also, please bring a donation to YWCA's Other Bank. The Other Bank is the only service in Lewis, Mason and Thurston County consistently providing essential health and hygiene products to low-income families.
