Hands on Museum Sponsors Eco Event at Capitol Campus

Participate in exciting activities to reduce your carbon footprint, save endangered species, and create a garden of your very own at the Hands on Children's Museum on Saturday, March 28 from 10:30 am-2:30 pm on the Capitol Campus and at the Museum at 106 11th St. SW, Olympia. Come in and discover new sea creatures and how to help save their habitats, and learn about environmentally safe cleaning products you can make right at home. Track your speed on a stationary bike inside the Museum and discover how many miles you can travel. Create art from recycled bike parts and learn the mechanics of cycling and how to stay safe on the roads.

Help start Spring green by showing off your wheels - travel to the Museum on your bike and receive a FREE treat! Gather on the Capitol lawn across from the Museum to parade around the Capitol Campus and enjoy face painting and bike decorating as part of the exciting festivities! The Children's Bike Parade takes place from 10:30 am-noon. The bike decorating begins at 10:30, and the parade at 11 am.
