GA seeks construction manager for Capitol Campus project

General Administration has released a solicitation in the Seattle Journal of Commerce for a general contractor/construction manager (GC/CM) for the Heritage Center & Executive Office Building Project.

The solicitation and other associated documents can be found on the project Web site at www.ga.wa.gov/HCEOB.

GA will be accepting proposals until April 3 and the project team anticipates signing a contractor no later than June.

The GC/CM will participate in the next phases of the design process with the architects. The GC/CM will conduct constructability reviews, prepare schedules prior to the start of construction and participate in value engineering, a process that analyzes cost efficiencies.
