Carbon Footprints Workshop

On Friday, January 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Joshua Skov of the Sustainability and Leadership Certificate program in Continuing Education at the University of Oregon will lead a one-day workshop aimed at both the public and private sectors.

This workshop will focus on two concepts and sets of tools related to climate change: (1) measuring your organization's "carbon footprint" or greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, and (2) understanding and defining "climate risk" for your organization. The target audience is managers in business and government. Participants will leave the workshop equipped with tools and guidance to be leaders on climate change in their organizations.

Cost of the workshop is $224 before January 4; $249 after January 4. For course description and registration, please visit: center.uoregon.edu/sustainability/workshops/course_desc.php?CourseKey=530314.
