Water-wise Plant Sale & Workshops

Just in time for fall planting, the Native Plant Salvage Foundation will host a sale of hard-to-find native and other water-wise plants on Sunday, October 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Now's your chance to transform your landscape with beautiful shrubs, perennials, groundcovers and ornamental grasses that won't require supplemental water once established.

Personal plant shoppers will be on hand to advise you about which plants will be best suited to your landscape. Experts will offer information-packed mini-workshops on attracting birds and butterflies as well as combining plants for four-season interest.

The sale and workshops will be hosted by the Thurston Conservation District, in the Mottman Center on 29th Ave. SW, off of R.W. Johnson Blvd. See http://www.nativeplantsalvage.org for more details or call 360-754-3588 ext. 109 or 110.
