Children's Thrift Store

For all those who detest taking items to the landfill, and applaud reuse/recycling, there is a new alternative in Olympia for your usable goods.

Children's Thrift Store recently opened on the corner of 5th and Franklin in downtown Olympia. Despite its name, it sells household goods, furniture, and adult as well as children's clothing in good condition. All proceeds from this enterprise go directly to Children's Hospital's uncompensated care program. Last year more than 800 children from Thurston County were treated at Children's Hospital in Seattle. A new Children's clinic was recently opened in Olympia to provide local care. Whether you're moving or just spring-cleaning, you can donate to Children's.

Here are some ways you can help:

  • Donate: Bring your quality usable merchandise to the store between 10-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Call 360-236-8245 to arrange for a pick-up.
  • Volunteer to work the sales floor and to help in the backroom sorting and pricing.
  • Shop: Visit and look through our merchandise. -}
