Recycle Week `97

Thurston County Department of Water and Waste Management has scheduled several fun and educational events beginning on October 4th to celebrate "Recycle Week
97." Events range from Environmental Story Times for preschool-aged children to Community Recycle Days for hard-to-recycle items. Also scheduled: Compost Bin Blowout Sale, Worm Bin Composting Workshops, Yard Waste Composting Workshops, Shopping-Bag Exchange, Hawks Prairie Landfill Tour and Shop Smart Tour.
