** I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having this beautiful web-site. You are inspiring to me, not because of your "disabilities" but because of your ABILITIES, and your courage and strength in pursuing your dreams.
** I am the mother of a 5 year old little girl, she is bright, and loving, and has such such a beautiful soul, she also has Down's syndrome. I know that she is going to do so many wonderful things in her life. I believe in her so much, but sometimes I get scared when I think about the challenges she will face. I know that each of us has obstacles in our lives, that we must overcome, but I love her so much and I never want to see her hurt or disappointed.
** Your story, your art, your determination gives me strength and renews my hope, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
** I read your article in EP magazine. I am constantly pleased and amazed at what you are doing. What great potential you are realizing. I think your mom was listening hard when I first met her. She asked me "What do I do now?" You should ask her what I said. She's been doing that ever since.
** hi, you have inspired me in to drawing my best and letting me notice the true meaning of arts and for that I thank you god bless you.
** My brother heard you speak at the Puget Sound Down Syndrome Community buddy walk on 5th October and suggested that I look at your website as he found your achievements very inspirational. His daughter (my niece) has Down Syndrome and you are a wonderful role model for her. Unfortunately I wasn't at the event as I live in England. I just wanted to say that I love your artwork - The Lion and Orange Sky are my favorites. Best wishes for the future.
** I just returned from the APSE conference and presented my wife with the "Blue Indian" picture I purchased from you. My wife is a native american and was very moved by your ability to capture the spirit of the true american native. It was great to talk with you and I wish you all good luck with your most talented career.
** I was so impress with Dylan's work and his ability to express himself through his art. I could tell immediately that you have given Dylan such support and encouragement. I am excited for Dylan and certain wish him much success with his art.
** I am also extremely interested in helping you and your Voc Rehab office work through the process of "self employment" for Dylan and others. If I can help in anyway just let me know. It was a joy to meet you and Dylan.
** My father (Peter) told me he met you and your mother in a restaurant in Olympia, Washington. He bought a package or your beautiful cards and gave them to me as a present. I study art therapy in Los Angeles California and I found them most expressive and wonderful. I just wanted to tell you thank you personally. Thank you,
** My daughter and I live in Maine and just saw the episode of BizKids on PBS that showed you in it. I saw your website on there and thought I would stop by. I am certainly glad I did because your art work is just amazing! How soon until your store is open again? I would love to refer people I know to your website to purchase things. Keep up the good work and hope all is well with you! Take care.
** Dylan, May I first say thank you for allowing me to share your artistic creations with the world. One of my deepest wishes is to "Help Anyone Participate", whether small business owners, individuals with disabilities, employees in career transition, or children following a dream. In reading your poems and seeing the pictures you submitted to the HAP Online Literary Magazine, I was touched by their honesty and purity. When I say purity, I do not mean white or clean, but rather unpolluted creativity. Too much art today is influenced by the negative aspects of the world around us but you have taken YOUR inner beauty and expressed it through your eyes, and hands, and words. Thank you so very much. Your mom shared one painting in particular with me - Orange Sky - and while I did water painting in my college days, I have not really done water painting, unless for a close friend or for family, in a long time. This painting has inspired me to pick up my paints and attempt to paint again, especially since I live about 15 minutes from the beach and find the ocean equally as inspiring.
** I have a developmentally disabled son who is very artistic and I would welcome information on how to further his interest and talent.
** I am so moved by the beauty of your artwork and the
sweetness of your poetry. I have a little sister with Down
Syndrome, and she is the light of my life. You are an
inspiration to us all!
** Dylan, you are awesome... You have always held a special place in
my heart since we where kids. I wish you the best of luck.
** My name is Valere, and I have a 3 year old son with DS. My
friend who lives in KC met you at the convention and told me how
impressed she was with your artwork. She sent me your web site.
I think you are quite a talented young man, and an inspiration to
me to know that could be my Sam someday. Good luck to you. I'm
so proud of you for all you've accomplished.
** I was surfing the web and came across your website and I just wanted to say I really like your art work. You are really talented!
