where life moves at a slower pace...

Circle Hawk Farm has grown organically over the last 5 years into a place where people of all ages and diversities have come to gather and celebrate and learn various skills. When my husband died suddenly shortly after purchasing the farm, the community came together to help support me and my two young children (ages 3 and 7 at the time). From that community effort Circle Hawk Farm became a gathering place for various groups to hold private and community events. The events have been diverse from a children's summer day camp, to State Agency meetings, to spiritual celebrations, spinning and knitting group circles, meditation circles, organic gardening workshops, habitat restoration work parties and wood working workshops. The year round organic fruit and vegetable gardens provide food for the family, food trade for services rendered on the farm and educational hands-on gardening practice for local schools K- college ages, while the excess produce goes to support the Thurston Co Food bank. See attachment A: Circle Hawk Farm Events Listing.

I have worked professionally for over 20 years as a Landscape Architect in the private and public sector, in addition to owning and managing a home based Custom Picture Framing business for 15 yrs. I have lived in this community for nearly 20 years and am well connected and respected in my private and professional circles. I have 2 young children which also keep me connected to community events, the school system and families. My husband worked for a state agency for over 10 years in Olympia so I am familiar with the workings of State agencies.
