Biscuits ½ C milk
½ T vinegar
½ t cream of tartar
½ t soda
½ t sugar
1 C flour
3 T oil
Mix well, ½ C milk, ½ T vinegar, ½ t cream of tartar, ½ t soda, ½ t sugar. Add and blend 1 C flour. Add and blend 3 T oil. Work in 1 C- flour to non-stick consistency. Place on 9" pie tin and poke to spread within ½ inch of bottom edge. With a water glass cut round shape in center. With butter knife divide remaining ring into 12 equal segments separating each cut 1/8 inch. Make 3 or 4 pinch peaks on top of each segment. Bake on rack just above center at 375 degrees in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until well browned.
