Inzar's Flamenco styling for belly dance: (for those who are already familiar with Middle Eastern Dance), focus will be on the carriage & movement that define Flamenco dance and distinguish it from Rags el Sharqui. The skirt, shawl, and fan are all used in ways that can create the subtle flavor of Andalusia. The first hour of the class covers arm work, head placement, body stance and leg and footwork of the Flamenco form. During the second hour you will learn a short choreography that uses Flamenco to flavor Middle Eastern dance.

Learn steps and combos from West and South Africa showing the original forms that evolved into the fusion style known as Afro-Cuban. The first half of the class will be instruction and drill of the movements from diverse African countries, with attention to the differences in body stance and musicality, the last half using the same moves to dance to more familiar Afro-Cuban belly dance music.
